STARSAND ISLAND GUIDE

Beginner Roadmap

A low-waste first-week route from the cabin to a sustainable five-profession island.

Route principle

Crafter first is a bottleneck decision, not a permanent class choice. Add Farmer for repeatable income and Explorer when ore begins blocking upgrades.

DAY / STEP 01

Day 1: make the cabin functional

Follow the tutorial until Build Mode and the Island Life phone app appear. A bed, storage box, and basic seat matter more than decoration.

  • Place the required bed before expanding the house.
  • Sort wood, ore, crops, food, and quest items into separate storage.
  • Claim any StarNote, Islandpedia stamp, and camera rewards already available.
DAY / STEP 02

Start Crafter before another profession blocks

Zerine’s profession route provides the tools, worktables, processors, storage, and early transport that every other route eventually needs.

  • Keep Softwood, Stone, Fiber, Copper, Tin, and Quartz.
  • Upgrade the bag when the material cost no longer delays a tool or station.
  • Do not spend processed parts on decoration before Worktable II is secured.
DAY / STEP 03

Build a small, sustainable farm loop

Start Farmer with Graminova, but plant only what can be watered without consuming the entire day’s energy.

  • Group crops by harvest date, not just appearance.
  • Save one reserve of seasonal seeds and produce.
  • Use Community Center requests only when they do not consume scarce upgrade materials.
DAY / STEP 04

Use Island Life to choose the next task

Land purchases, port access, fast travel, and later systems are milestone-gated. Check the app before grinding an unrelated resource.

  • Keep a Starsand reserve for the next land purchase.
  • Spend Workpedia points on the current bottleneck.
  • Add Explorer when forest ore or combat materials appear in crafting recipes.
